GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR RENTING (E)BICKS
The rental conditions for bicycle companies apply to the rental of (electric/bakery) bicycles. These General Terms and Conditions of BOVAG Bicycle Companies have been drawn up in consultation with the Consumers' Association and the ANWB within the framework of the SER Coordination Group Self-Regulation Consultation (CZ) and come into force as of May 1, 2016. DIFFERENT PROVISIONS:
Art. 4: Dissolution is not applicable and does not apply;
Art. 14 paragraphs 3&6: It is not allowed to make any repairs to the rented property without the landlord's permission;

IMPORTANT RENTAL CONDITIONS
- The renter is liable for damage to the rented bicycle and will reimburse both repair costs and the necessary replacement of damaged parts.
- The own risk in case of damage or theft is maximum:
€200,- for a city bike
€300,- for an E-bike
€750,- for an Urban Arrow
-In case of theft:
The hirer must be able to hand over the original bike key.
The hirer is obliged to immediately report it to the police and show this evidence to the rental company.
In case of theft, the lessee is liable for the current market value of the bicycle;
The current market value is determined based on the make, model, age and condition of the bicycle.
- Damage and/or loss must be reported to the lessor as soon as possible.
- Payment shall be made prior to the rental period.
- No refund in case of early return of the rented item.
- Even in case of early return, the full rental fee will still apply.
- In case of loss of the bike key, 15 euro will be charged.
- In case of cancellation by the renter less than 48 hours before the rental date, the rental company may charge the full rental fee.
- The renter is fully liable for damages caused to third parties while using the bicycle.
- The rental period runs from 09:00 to 19:00.
- The renter must take good care of the bicycle:
The bicycle must always be locked with the fixed ring lock and additionally secured with the supplied chain lock to a fixed object (e.g. a fence, bike rack or pole).
The battery must be charged according to instructions.
- The rented bicycle may only be used on public roads and designated bicycle paths.
- Repairs to the bicycle may only be carried out with the permission of the lessor.
- Attaching your own accessories (such as child seats, bags or phone holders) is not permitted.
- Transporting people on the luggage rack is not permitted (with the exception of rented child seats).
- Use of the bicycle is entirely at your own risk.
- The lessor reserves the right to reclaim the rented bicycle in the event of suspected abuse.

All disputes arising from the rental agreements are subject to Dutch law. Furthermore, the Dutch courts have exclusive jurisdiction to take cognizance of these disputes.
