How do I make a reservation?
You reserve a bike through our website www.pesierentabike.nl by clicking on RENT A BIKE. Reservations can be made for one or more days. You indicate the rental period and choose which bikes and accessories you want to rent. Then by clicking on COMPLETE YOUR RESERVATION you can indicate whether we should deliver the bikes or you come to pick them up at one of our locations.
Is advance reservation required?
Advance reservations are not required, but are wise if you want to be assured that you can ride on your preferred date.
What if I did not make a reservation in advance?
You can always reserve bikes on our website; even on the day. Of course, you can also stop by one of our branches to see what is still available.
What type of bikes does Pesie Rent a Bike rent?
We offer a wide range of modern Gazelle bikes of the best quality. You can hire e-bikes, parent-child tandems, electric cargo bikes, city bikes, children's bikes and mountain bikes from us.
What is the cost of renting a bike?
The cost depends on the type of bike and the length of the rental period. See our prices per bike here.
I want my bikes delivered, is that possible?
Yes, for orders from €50,- or higher it is possible to deliver bikes to your accommodation in the region Alkmaar, Bergen, Schoorl and Egmond. For orders lower than €50,- we charge €12,50 delivery costs. We only deliver to residential and vacation addresses; not to public places such as railway stations.
Would you like to use our delivery and pick-up service? If so, please indicate this when making your reservation.
What time will the bikes be delivered and picked up again?
We deliver the bikes between 09.00 and 10.00 at your accommodation address. Our drivers pick up the bikes again at 19.00 on the final date.
Can I pick up the bikes at Pesie Rent a Bike?
Yes, you can pick up your rental bike at one of our locations. Your reservation will then be ready for you on the appointed day.
What are your opening hours?
Both branches are open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. 7 days a week.
What time can I pick up the bikes and what time should they be returned?
You can pick up the bikes from 09.00 and we would like to take them back before 19.00. It is not possible to return the bikes later than 19.00, as they have to be ready for the next day.
Can I cancel my reservation?
You can cancel a reservation free of charge up to 24 hours before the booking date. After this we will charge the full rental fee. Please send your cancellation by e-mail to info@pesierentabike.nl.
Can I return my bikes earlier than the rental period and get my money back?
You can return your bikes earlier but returning the rented item early does not entitle you to a refund.
Can I change my reservation?
You can change your reservation. Send an e-mail with all the information of your reservation and the desired change to info@pesierentabike.nl.
What should I do in the event of a breakdown on the road?
A flat tire or a dead battery? It can happen to anyone. Are you standing by the road with a breakdown? Then call +31 72 202 9084. Our service team will come straight to you with a replacement bike or repair the bike on location.
What should I do in case of damage or theft?
Damage to rental bicycles must be reported upon return of the bicycle. In case of theft you have to report it immediately to the police. A copy of the report must then be submitted to Pesie Rent a Bike.
